While I was browsing the shelves at Borders today, the spine of one book gave me a virtual slap across the face: Dungeons and Dragons for Dummies.
Is the quintessential nerd hobby now mainstream enough to warrant a Dummies book? Is the game so complicated that someone needs a Dummies book to figure out how to play? Do we really want people who do need a Dummies book to actually be playing this game with "us"?
There's just something wrong here.
